Meet The Trainers

Beckie Hulmes

Beckie is a mum to two young boys. She has worked in healthcare for over 15 years. For the last 10 years she has worked as a qualified staff nurse in her local hospital gaining experience in a critical care environment. Being a nurse Beckie has always understood the importance of knowing first aid. Since becoming a mum she strongly believes everyone caring for babies and children should have basic first aid knowledge to be able to deal with those situations we hope will never happen!

Claire Creer

I'm Claire and I am a mum to two young boys. I have worked as Cabin Crew for 23 years and 15 years as a Cabin Manager for both Monarch Airlines and Virgin Atlantic. I am also currently an Ambulance Care Assistant. I am passionate about First Aid and I love giving people the tools to deal with any situation they may be faced with, it is so rewarding!

Laura Hazeldine

As a mum to two young boys, Laura knows all too well the importance of having first aid skills up her sleeve! Laura has been qualified in First Aid since 2009, she is confident in her subject knowledge and in her delivery of sessions. Laura is proud to call herself a Mini First Aid Trainer, and says that working within a trusted and award winning organisation, with strong family/team ethos, is absolutely fantastic

Rob Thomas

Hi, I’m Rob. The first time saw a Mini First Aid class I was working as a paramedic and I can honestly say I was really impressed. Good first aid is just as important in saving lives as anything a paramedic, nurse or doctor might do and what I saw at that first class inspired me to get involved. I’m now retired from the Ambulance Service after close to twenty years and hope to be able to share some of my experience and help give people the confidence and skills that I know can make a difference.
